Last week's Intercol competition saw the Walford sportswomen compete against St Peter's Girls' School in AFL, Soccer, Hockey, Badminton and Netball.

Our athletes performed admirably, with many incredible demonstrations of skill, sportsmanship and teamwork. They embodied our School values of Courage, Commitment, Community and Growth.

There were numerous highlights, including a close-fought netball competition with Walford winning five out of ten matches, two outstanding goals in the Division 1 Soccer game, and an outstanding 46-point win in the AFL.

Overall, the support at all the matches from the wider School community was fantastic, with amazing crowds and brilliant displays of School spirit.

Well done to all of the girls for participating with such dedication. Congratulations to St Peter's Girls' for taking out the title this year.
