From the Early Learning Centre through to Year 12, students have access to spaces that support academic learning, creativity, wellbeing, physical activity and community connection.

Walford Anglican School for Girls is located in the leafy suburb of Hyde Park, just 4 kilometres south of the Adelaide CBD. Positioned alongside Unley, Malvern, Millswood and Parkside, the School is centrally located and easily accessible from across Adelaide via public transport and our school bus network.

Helen Reid Hall
Our versatile auditorium and performance venue, Helen Reid Hall, can accommodate up to 340 guests. With tiered seating and professional sound and lighting systems, it's suitable for lectures, presentations, and artistic showcases such as dance and music performances. A kitchen and servery provide catering options upon request.
St Elizabeth Chapel
Our chapel can accommodate up to 120 people and features stunning stained glass windows by South Australian glass artist, Cedar Prest. The venue is also fitted with modern projection technology, making it suitable for smaller meetings and seminars.
Sports Centre
Walford's state-of-the-art Sports Centre – including our dance studio and two indoor sports courts with sprung floors – is available for hire.
Boarding House
Our 70-bed Boarding House is available for hire during non-term times only, and subject to approval by the School. Hire can include full catering if required.

How do drop-off, pick-up and parking work?
There is a kiss-and-drop zone outside the Walford ELC, with other convenient drop-off points on Commercial Road and Fashoda Street. Families new to Walford receive practical arrival and parking information before commencement. For families with children at both Walford and St Peter’s College, Walford works with St Peter’s College to offer a bus service for brothers travelling on to St Peter’s College, making the morning routine simpler for families.

Does Walford have sports facilities?
Yes. In addition to the on-campus Sports Centre and courts, Walford students train and compete at Parks Playing Field & Pavilion and the West Lakes boathouse via the Walford High Performance Athelete Academy.
