Theatre Technician and Events Officer
We are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician and Events Officer to join the Walford team in 2025 in a permanent part-time capacity.
The Theatre Technician and Events Officer is responsible for providing the technical aspects of School assemblies, music concerts, drama performances, community events, and other major School events such as Cabaret, Service of Lessons and Carols, and the Special Awards Ceremony. The role entails the operation of all technical facilities including lighting, audio, projection and staging. This position also liaises with external parties to facilitate the hire of our Helen Reid Hall.
Energy, initiative, meticulous attention to detail and communication skills of a high order are all of paramount importance when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders in this varied role.

Helpdesk Officer
We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Officer to join the IT team for a short-term replacement contract in 2025.
Walford is a Mac-based environment, and as the Helpdesk Officer you are responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk tasks to support the efficient IT operations of the school including managing support tickets, asset inventory and liaising with external suppliers.
This position provides staff, students, parents and the school community with a wide range of technical support, with a focus on high levels of customer service and satisfaction. At the direction of the Head of Information and Learning Technologies, the Helpdesk Officer is responsible for assisting with basic technical support for events including assemblies with assistance from other IT staff as required.
