Student Counsellor
We are seeking a permanent Student Counsellor (37.5 hours per week during school terms) to join our team in Term 1 2026.
As the Student Counsellor, you would support the wellbeing and success of all students. You would provide high-quality counselling to students experiencing a wide range of academic, social, emotional and mental health issues, therefore being a key contributor to the welfare, safety and care of the School’s students.

Teacher - Science (Biology) - Middle & Senior School
We are looking to appoint an experienced Science Teacher whose specialisation is Biology. This role will see the successful candidate join the Walford team in a permanent, capacity (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) from the commencement of 2026.
Working collaboratively with the Head of Science, this teacher will deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum, turning the classroom into a space where curiosity fuels discovery.

Director of the Early Learning Centre
The Early Learning Centre (ELC) of Walford Anglican School for Girls welcomes 3- and 4- year-old girls and boys into a warm, nurturing environment of vibrant learning and exceptionally high care. Drawing on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and the Reggio Emilia philosophy, Walford’s ELC offers a unique, research-based approach to early education grounded in purposeful play, rich inquiry, and meaningful relationships.
Due to the retirement of the long-serving and much-loved incumbent, we are seeking a Director of the Early Learning Centre. Commencing January 2026, this is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to lead the Walford ELC with vision, innovation, and integrity.
