Walford is pleased to offer six terms of tuition for the price of four to students who enrol in the Mid-Year Reception intake commencing in 2024-2026.

Starting school for the first time marks one of the most defining milestones of your daughter’s life. At Walford, we understand the significance of this moment, which is why we work closely with families to not only guide your daughter through this transition but also create an experience that sets the stage for a lifetime of love for learning.

Our Mid-Year Reception Program has been carefully crafted to provide each young girl with a head start in developing the essential skills, knowledge and capabilities she will need for an optimal start to her schooling experience.

With the support of Walford’s specialist Junior School staff, your daughter will thrive in a personally tailored curriculum within a warm and nurturing environment, where she is truly known and treasured by the wider Walford community.

Free Mid-Year Reception Tuition*

Walford is pleased to offer 6 months of free tuition to students who enrol in Mid-Year Reception. This means students will enjoy six terms of Reception at the cost of four.    

To be eligible for the free Mid-Year Reception tuition, it is recommended that your daughter turns five between 1 May and 31 October. 

If your daughter falls outside of this criteria, and you would still like to apply, please contact our Head of Enrolments to discuss your daughter’s age and readiness in further detail.

Before registering your daughter, as a first step, you may wish to learn more about our School.

Enrol Now  

If you would like to enrol your daughter in our Mid-Year Reception Program, and to avoid missing out, families are asked to complete the Application Form either in hard copy or online as soon as possible.  

 

Please note, that families currently in the ELC who would like their daughter to continue at Walford will not need to complete a new Application Form but will need to advise the School in writing of their desire to continue. 

A Letter of Offer will be sent to all families a maximum of two years prior to your daughter’s commencement. To confirm the offer, all families will be required to pay an enrolment deposit.

*Terms and Conditions

  • Students who start Reception in the Mid-Year intake will receive a credit for the first two terms of Reception tuition across the four fee statements in the following school year. 
  • Students must complete six terms of Reception at Walford to receive the full credit. 
  • Parents must pay school fees when they fall due.  
  • This offer replaces the previous Reception Early Incentive Offer and will not include any sibling or staff discounts. Any relevant discounts will be applied from the third term of Reception onwards. 
  • This offer only refers to the tuition fee, the fixed charge and any other incidental expenses are not included as part of this offer.
