Walford is a school with an international reputation and it is held in high regard for outstanding academic success throughout its history since 1893. It is located close to the city centre and is only 15 minutes from Adelaide Airport. Recently, Adelaide was ranked as the most liveable and safe city in the world. It is a wonderful place for our international students to feel safe and cared for in a changing world.
Atmosphere of Respect
International students are encouraged to discover their strengths and realise their potential through a broad curriculum and a wide range of co-curricular opportunities. Walford students are able to select their pathway to university by studying either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or the South Australian Certificate of Education. Highly qualified teachers who are passionate about their subjects work closely with the girls in an atmosphere of collaboration and respect. This culture fosters exemplary results. Each year Walford graduates accept a wide variety of university placements from Adelaide, interstate and overseas.

National sporting competitions are a feature at Adelaide Oval and cultural events are popular at the Festival Theatre.
The School is serviced by excellent bus routes that are run by Walford buses and also public transport options.
The deliberate size of our school allows for each girl to be known and to feel a strong connection to the community. Students are cared for and supported by the International Student Coordinator and they also have access to student and careers counsellors at all times.
Walford has agreements with a number of respected overseas agents who will assist families with assessment, enrolment and visa applications.
