It has been a delight to welcome back families and girls to the Junior School for 2023.

Parent Coffee Mornings, Information Sessions and PTA Welcome Drinks have enabled families to meet, connect and reconnect after the summer break.

Junior School Timetable

Highlights for Term 1 have included the introduction of Specialist Design Thinking lessons with Mrs Louise Bacholer and Chinese Mandarin with Ms Jenny Xu, to further enhance the Junior School timetable for 2023.

Wellbeing, Engagement and Belonging

Junior School Wellbeing Engagement and Belonging programs are in the launch phase of utilising the Grow Your Mind resource, as a key component of our social and emotional curriculum and morning WEB sessions. This program stems from the concept that we all have mental health, and we can all look after it.  Many of our classes are investigating parts of the brain, using the narrative of ‘animal helpers’ and explaining what they do for us.

Junior School Student Leadership

Congratulations to Phoebe Williams and Zara Brown, who have been elected as Junior School Student leaders for 2023. We look forward to the leadership and new initiatives that these girls bring to our community throughout the year, as they also work with our other Year 5 leaders who will also lead as House Captains and in the focus areas of music, sustainability, peer support and digital technologies.
