Walford students Lara, Indira and Lucy performed brilliantly to bring home a gold medal each from national aerobics competitions. Lara and Lucy (both Year 6) competed with their Activ8 club team, and won a gold medal in the Primary Open B section at the 2022 Schoolaerobics National Championships held on the Gold Coast. Also representing Activ8, Year 8 student Indira competed at the FISAF Australia National Championships held in Brisbane where her team won the gold medal in the Junior National Fitness Teams Final. Congratulations!
Walford Come and Try Sport Aerobics
Sport aerobics is a fun fitness routine that combines aerobics, dance and fitness. It is suitable for students of all ages and abilities – and no experience is needed!
Local, state and national competition opportunities are available for those who are interested.
