I am delighted to let you know that Walford will partner with St Peter’s College to present a combined musical in 2023.
In Term 2, 2023, Saints and Walford will present one of the most exciting rock musicals of all time, Jesus Christ Superstar. We will be looking for performers from Year 9-12 with singing, dancing and acting ability (including current year 8 students who will be in Year 9 next year). Please email Ms Cook at St Peter’s College to register interest or ask any questions jcook@stpeters.sa.edu.au and copy in music@walford.asn.au so we can support you.
Auditions will be held for leading roles and supporting roles. You will need to perform a rock song or another song of your choice (preferably from a musical) that shows your vocal range. You may bring along a backing track or sing a cappella. If you wish to be considered for the ensemble, can you please register your interest as Ms Cook would like to meet you. We may have another round of auditions with support and feedback given before finalising casting before the end of this term (TBC). There is also an opportunity for approximately 3 dancers.
This opportunity is not to be missed and Ms Cook looks forward to working with the students of Walford on this exciting production!
